Kristopher Mixon currently serves as a Senior Consultant for Ernst & Young within the Workforce Advisory Practice. He specializes in the Utilities and Energy industries, providing change strategies for his clients. Prior to joining Ernst & Young, Kristopher worked for Accenture LLP as a Change Management Consultant, and the Boeing Company in Saint Louis, Missouri as a Financial Analyst. He is an Alumnus of Prairie View A&M University, where he attained a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, from the College of Business. Shortly after graduating, he achieved a Master of Science in Forensic Accounting from Webster University. He is a current member of the National Association of Black Accountants, as well as the President of Emerging 100 Houston. Kristopher has a strong passion for Real Estate, Professional Development, Corporate and Dining Etiquette, and developing our future young black professionals.
Overview: “The median Black family wealth is $24,000 while the median White family wealth is around $188,000. According to the Economic State of Black America report, Black wealth could skyrocket if financial barriers were dismantled." During this workshop, panel experts will address the racial wealth divide and how Black college students can begin building generational wealth for themselves and their families.
